Commencing on May 28 in Paris, Las Vegas, the 45th edition of the World Series of Poker (WSOP) will feature a Champions Reunion, which is an event of significance. In addition to the $5,000 guaranteed prize pool, all living former WSOP Main Event champions are extended invitations to participate in this No Limit Hold ’em freezeout at no cost. Moreover, to add intrigue to the game, the participant who was defeated by a former world champion will be granted a place in the main event.

According to the poker news, The upcoming WSOP has already signed up a number of star players, including current champion Daniel Weinman, who delivered a historic performance last year, winning $12.1 million from a historic Main Event field of 10,043 players, the highest first prize payout in poker tournament history.

Bets on this year’s Main Event are already high, with all prior records anticipated to be broken. The tournament, which is slated to commence on July 3 with four initial flights, permits late registration until around 4:40 p.m. on the second day of every beginning day, daily until Level 7. While respecting its origins, the final table will return to the Horseshoe Hotel in Las Vegas, symbolically tied to the old Binion’s Horseshoe, where Benny Binion and his sons, Jack and Ted, founded the World Series of Poker in 1970. The much-anticipated finals on July 16-17 is up next.

The new dynamic Mixed No-Limit Hold’em/Pot-Limit Omaha Double Board Bomb Pot tournament, slated for June 15, is a standout on the 2019 WSOP program. With a $1,500 buy-in and 25,000 starting chips, this tournament offers both high-riding and thrilling competition. In bomb pot events, participants post an ante before the flop, resulting in a pot that can explode in a double board format with two sets of communal cards.

These include the PokerNews Deep Stack Championship, which will take place on June 25 with a buy-in of $600, and online satellites on GGPoker and WSOP.com with a $1 buy-in for WSOP participants seeking entry points that are easily accessible.

The WSOP’s senior vice president and executive director, Ty Stewart, expressed his pleasure at the launch of the new series and his pride in hosting the inaugural Main Event. A fundamental principle is that records are susceptible to being shattered at any time. They will, therefore, be more substantial and superior in quality this year. The forthcoming schedule promises an improvement over the previous one, and adding 100 tables guarantees excitement for gaming titans, novices, and all others alike. This statement highlights the unique poker experience offered by the WSOP worldwide: in terms of poker competition spirit and caliber, no organization or individual is held to the same standard as the WSOP.
